One term has gone by, and another is in session.  joy

Let me start off with a brief overview of my wonderful mid-sem break that lasted for only 2 weeks!!! okay,, it’s not THAT bad, it has been pretty long and ‘eventful’ (?????)

First week, my days seemed to have been occupied with spending time with Josaih and Lena Chia Chia at Chadstone.. What did we do there? Well, we just window shopped, enjoyed the new Lindt cafe and changed Josaih’s diapers in the awesome baby change toilets.. teehee Also, I’m ashamed to say that I touched my school work only ONCE! yes, haha.. it was Biology.

Second week, HANNAH WAS BACK!!!!! yeahhh~~ so fun, i fink she arrived on Saturday, and a few hours later we (el, hannah and I) were rushing to Ian and Ivy’s wedding at ____ Leigh Receptions (forgot the whole name, bt for those who rber year 10 formal.. it’s the same place) on Sunday, we went to church… (it was superhero and princess day at KFC! so all the teach’s and little ppl dressed up a a superhero character) after church Hannah, Eleanor, TIff, Gen and I went for our lunch at ‘urban burger’… i reckon it’s a total rip-off. or maybe not??? i paid $11.80 for a burger; 600ml coke and a huge bowl of chips (which i reckon was topped up by the guys,, cos they liked us. HAHAHA) what do u guys think? cheappp??? or rip off?? El left shortly and us (the youths) walked around Glen Centro and shopped. Monday, hermm.. YES!! went out the whole day with Lena and baby Josaih!!, then later at night Keng surprised Lena with an early birthday ‘gift’ that consisted of a night out with her sisters.. haha, man. Keng is awesome, he’s totally setting the bar for the other future brother-in-laws in the Tan Family .. Tuesday,, i believe. tht… hannah and i woke up very early considering it was a holiday, we were off to the city with Eleanor–>planning to study but instead bludged at  David Boktor’s ‘fluids’ lecture; window shopped; had a thai lunch with AWESOME MARY TANGPIPAT and RACHEL NGOO; and rode a bus to David’s place to get his car… which would eventually be used to pick up Kaminee from the airport! (wow,, tht was a long sentence.. HAHA) er… and basically from Tueday-Saturday hannah and I spent our time with Kaminee + Hannah’s friends + Lena Chia Chia and Josaih + Sharmeen.. , we then sent Kaminee to the airport on Saturday.

Hannah went back yesterday ,, it was a SUnday. so sad :(.. nw im bored and can’t hang out wiht her any more.. nvm, in 2 more months, WE would be heading off to Msia TOGETHER!!!!! YAAAAAY~~ cannot wait

herm,,, so. wht can i say about my sisterly relationship with Hannah? Well.. like every relationship, we are always getting to knw each other.. and overtime we’d be able to predict and expect certain characteristics from a person… i think, considering me knowing her all my life, we have managed to advanced to that kinda level of relationship.. and it is the awesomest!!! I will always remember something hannah told me ages ago… ‘Did you know I used to hate you? Like i really really HATED you’ LOL!!!! my response was nothing less than shocked and flabbergasted (nt too sure if tht’s a word) haha I think since then,.,, it has changed my perspective on our relationship; it has made me treasure the closeness we have and the honesty and stupid things we’ve been through..–>>> basically to treasure the relationship

HOME ALONE #_

I think this is the first time and maybe the last time tht i’ll admit (in writing) that I actually miss my parents. HAHAHA, okay i really suck.. im a huge idiot

Today dad and mum left the house at 7am. about 3 minutes before they left, dad knocked SO LOUD that it actually woke me up.. i managed to sit up in bed and saw a rather foggy image of him in his grey suit and brown belt (cldn’t make out the colour of his shirt), bt how would i know? since i was half-asleep… Right after he said,”  We’re going now, I’ll see you.” i lie back onto my pillow and tune my ears to the creaks and shouts of my parents hurrying Eleanor because she was still drying her hair.. 3 minutes later my 7am phone alarm rang. . . . .  I didn’t even say bye to mum in person. yes, once again..  I suck.. im a huge idiot. So, they are coming back in like 10 weeks time, in OCTOBER!!! Now, im in the house alone with Eleanor.. well.. alone with eleanor about.. 10/24 hours in a day..? the other times, im in school (which is usual) or at home just walking around aimlessly–> since im grounded and cannot go out. HAHA, i told my friend this morning tht i can’t go out this term..

he said,” aren’t you alone? there’s nothing stopping you….?”

I said, ” There’s my sister,, and also my own integrity *grins*” [DAMN!! now tht i've written this down. i should make sure i keep to this. *sigh*]

So, after setting my clock for 8am, i slept. And then woke up lying in bed waiting for the bell to go off.. I get up and take a shower.. went down and saw that the hse in such a neat freak state. Mum always leave everything as tidy as possible, as a reminder that we should keep the house clean while she’s away.. haha (yes, we’ll try MUMMY) While ironing my skirt, I called HANNAH (who has, btw for those who do not know.. went back to Sydney, YESTERDAY!) who i was slightly missing, cos when i walk past her empty room.. it feels weird. . . . empty LOL. When she picked up.. she sounded like she was in some hostage situation, being all weird and answering in “yes” ’s and “no” ’s. She told me she’ll text me later in the day.. and instead received a text message tht said..

“Lol so awkward to talk on the train..im in between two people as well.. thats why i sounded weird “

oh yes, tht figures. haha thank God she wasn’t in some “code black” situation. I was late for my ride.. thank God it’s carpool, so they’ve gotta wait for me. haha, but it’s not nice to make people wait? right??? well, i’ve got my excuse. “Sorry uncle, I had the hairdryer going”

Went to school, and like snapped at nearly everyone i saw cos i was too damn upset abt my parents flying to Malaysia while im stuck in some noiseless house.. Went THROUGH school, and managed to finish two sacs without any preparation.. Walked to the carpark to be picked up.. talked to the auntie annie and uncle YC about my english sac and managed to drag myself to the front door.. Went in, and was greeted by a still, cold house.. Really, it feels weird walking in when i know no one’s at home. Cos, usually.. when i walk in to the hse i’d call out “HELLOOO??? I’m home~~”, bt this time.. there’s no point. sigh. hahaha

so, yes.. tht’s my depressing bit. now let’s SMILE!!! cos im gonna upload some photos of home functions/bdays,etc

Wow. more than liek AWHILE since i’ve been onto this site. well.. nowadays, ive been thinking about topics for my blog. and i always hve ‘em, cept they always SLIPPPP (like a slipppery slide) off my mind. Let’s start of with the music im currently listening to… HELLOGOODBYE-”Here (In Your Arms)” Mhmm.. they are AWESOME <3 them. a friend passed me a song by them called “Baby, it’s Fact” and from there i was hyper abt it.. but of course, most of us know tht once there’s a hype in our life, it will always reach a down down low.. Down down down.. (like an endless pithole)

OWH YES!!! I remember what I was gonna write in this blog!!!! About.. an hour ago [??] Dad wanted me to book the gold class tickets to Village cinemas for him and mum to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Well, I called up Gold Class Village Cinemas, and I had to talk to this like… guy. you must be thinking.. “ERghhh.. DUh, or else? an alien?”  BUT, my GOSH!!!! His voice was like.. so awesome!! like.. it was so nice. (for those of you who understand Bahasa Malaysia/Indonesia) While waiting for the guy to check the times.. i wanted to tell hannah and dad, who were next to me:

“Suaranya sangat cantik” (but i did not.. haha) translation: His/her voice is so pretty

instead, I said, “Suaranya sangat… nice”   translation: His/her voice is so.. nice

Dad smiled, ” Perempuan atau Laki?”  translation: Girl or boy?

I said, “Laki… hahaha”   translation: Male… hahaha

Anyways, I wonder how he looks like.. cos he sounds HOT on the phone. Im trying to recall if he said his name.. haha for some kinda reason im thinking, Keith???? LOL! Okay, <3s to alll!!!

okay, tonnesa things been happening in life… hum… there’s school and lil nephew’s first month thanksgiving. and family coming over to aussie and stuff… mmm

let’s talk about school… exams are coming in like 4 weeks!!! MANN!!! i am so freaked out! so, no parties and stuff for this next 3 weeks. REALLLY!!! well/.. except for this weekend haha. BTW~~ i now know what i want.. like, i have an addition to the list of things that i ‘want’.. it’s these wireless headphones. but not just normal head phones!! they’ve gotta be like a cool colour.. like yellow/baby blue or sth. and they gotta be the ones that look like earmuffs. hahaha.. use ur imags!

mmmhmm. anyone watched the latest Grey’s anatomy? like wht’s with the.. “i’m here FOR YOU” bits?????? i reckon they are trying to aim for some kinda profoundity (is tht even a word???) tht  no one can comprehend. anyways, i LOVE DANNNY~ i know, some of u girls out there would find him annoying.. but yeah, specially when he’s a ghost. hahaha okay. i’ll stop now…

OOOWH btw! i just got a haircut today.. yup. it’s okay.. i should have just gone to my usual hairdresser, ‘Aqua’ in Glen.. instead i went to ‘barbikim’ in Boxhill.. and yup. my hair’s really thin now.. and there’s this short fringe which i hope would grow out soonish. sigh. anyways.. my next hair thingy would be in sept.. or maybe Dec.. who knows? as long as it’s long enough for me to do stuffs with it.”

holidays

so, on the first day of school hols.. i met up with KC! at happy cup. over there i saw ben (a classmate from MM). after. saying bye to KC, i wanted to hang around Glen cos i just didn’t wanna go home so early.. so i texted Ben

‘hey, are you still here?’

‘yeah, whtsup?’

so, in the end.. we met up and went to Glen library, not because we’re total nerds. but cos we didn’t know where else to go. so when we went there.. guess what?!!!! we saw 4 other WCCians [Liann, Jacob, Jenson and Hanley] studying.. HAHAHAH! we stayed for over 2 hours[???] to just chat, hang, dance, sing outside the glen library. it was super fun!! we were planning to go for dinner together.. but a few of us weren’t gonna eat and some had to go off.. so we cancelled and just departed at the bus stops. it was fun!

so, yesterday 2nd day of holiday.

i wanted to get out of the house again and hang out with Liann. her plans was to go to the city to get a haircut, meet up with a couple of peeps at Fitzroy to play frisbee [?!! haha, i know, but it was funny ], go to VicMarket and later state library. My plans was to accompany Liann to cut her hair and study in state library.. hm. my plan KINDA worked// on the way to the city, Liann and I thought abt inviting Ben over [cos, we jus had such a great time together the previous day] and we did.. so after liann’s haircut

man, i love her haircut!! okay. so we went to state library for an hour and read our [liann and i] literature books for english.. then met Ben at Melbourne central.. we then went for lunch at some Jap place called Don Don. oowh yum!! cheap and goood.  Jansen was with us.. after lunch we walked to Fitzroy gardens. to play frisbee.. ahuh. yup. we got lost…. and wasted alot of time.. haha, but i guess it was fun and tiring..

we played frisbee for a while with a couple of Jansen’s friends from spore and Minli from WCC.. then headed back to State Library to collect our [ben, liann and i]bags before our locker time expired. bought V and gelati and headed home. gelati was good as!!! at glen… we [ben, liann and i]hung around at bubble tea and later caught our own buses.. and left!!! anyways. it was super fun hanging with Liann and Ben the whole day! we shld do it again.. hahahah yup/

I was watching Grey’s Anatomy today.. haha ( i know, im meant to be studying, but just hold up..)

There was this homeless guy, who got into this really bad accident that caused his limbs and skeletons to cross over and stay that way.. haha, i know bad description. but just imagine.. his legs, arms, knees, ankles all at the wrong places> like a ball of human limbs. so basically, his whole skeleton was fractured and they had to “fix” him up. the doctors managed to untangle him, but this guy didn’t wanna go through operation cos he was scared he couldn’t walk and just wanted to stay tht way. broken up… he had a story. he said tht in his life there was a turn-over, and  that he couldn’t make a connection, thats why he’s homeless. he repeated the statement twice. i watched tht,, and it was scary and sad.

next, i watched Private Practice..haha [ channel 7 and the other networks are smart. they put all these series next to each other causing viewers to be stuck on the channel, producing higher viewing rates and blah blah blah..>> that was just an analysis, do i get an A for that Mrs. Rechner? ]

so, there was a couple. they were old African-Americans.. Francis (the wife) was slowly slipping away from her husband (Henry). she had Alzheimer’s disease.

‘Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is an irreversible, progressive brain disease that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills and, eventually, the ability to carry out the simplest tasks of daily living. In most people with AD, symptoms first appear after age 60.’

Francis’ condition was slowly killing her husband physically and emotionally because Henry was anaemic and most importantly he missed her cares, her affections and her recognizing him.

‘ anaemia is when you don’t have enough red blood cells. This makes it difficult for your blood to carry oxygen, causing unusual tiredness and other symptoms.’

anyway, a doctor-friend advises Henry to send Francis to a home so the burden  of taking care of her would be lighter for him. but he said no because she was the love of his life and they made a promise that they will not be separated but be together (this was before she became ill). he also said he didn’t want her to die in the arms of a stranger but his arms. okay, that was really beautiful, it made me cry.

there were also other scenes where Henry was shown caring for Francis.. it gave me bittersweet feelings. love

also, at Private Practice. the main lady (the girl with the red hair.. i forgot her name), her bf said he loves her. her reaction was.. speechlessness. and i think it kinda plunged her into this whole trust thing…

what would your reaction be? like if someone said ‘i love you’ to you? ’specially when ur not ready for it…

also, what is your definition of love? till death do us part? would you wait for ages for the ‘right one’? what if you miss the ‘right one’?…. would you find the love of your life?

if things don’t connect, are you gonna give up and die? or would u do something like,, go through an operation? haha

just wanna shout out a massive “THANK YOU!!!!” to those who text-ed, hugged, verbally wished, facebook-ed and gave me pressies on my birthday!! haha, thanks LOADS!!!!!

now, im gonna excrutiatingly fill you guys in with every single detail about my birthday! WAHAHHAHAHAHAH *evil laugh*  so…

at 11:59 am, hannah texted me a really emotional text on how im her baby sister and stuffs. haha it was sweeet

I also received a birthday message from some random, who i found out later on was Charly. hah

11:59:40 i got a text from Isaac asking whether i am really using hnnah’s new number. and

ERGh.. actually i cannot be bothered to tel ething. i’ll just give a quick summary

so, i received a few messages before i slept, then i woke up in the morning, and Er Jia was there… i received a few texts from my friends from school wishing me a “Happy birthday” then i went to school. At school, i received a present from a friend of mine,, then went to homeroom. Over there, ppl wished me ‘happy birthday’ and soon after my homeroom teacher led the whole class into an in-prompt-to ‘happy birthday’ song. hahhaa. it was nice..

went to class after and on the way received more hugs and wishes… erg.. at recess the ESL/International Students sang me ‘happy birthday’ haha. hum.. after recess at chem, the whole class once again sang ‘happy birthday’  and i got more wishes and hugs.. then at the india mission trip meeting ppl found out it was my birthday and sang me ‘happy birthday’! and i also got more hugs and wishes. HAHAHA

i felt so loved… i reckon the bestest birthday present for me is when people remember my birthday and they also wish me. hahah. felt so good. *happy sigh*

OWH!, on Wednesday at Indonesian Class, Ibu<< my Indo teacher brought cake and hot chocolate for all of us cos it was my birthday. how nice!!!>> there were only 4 of us, so it’s doable.

hummm… so today’s the 6th and it’s been pretty good .. im 17 now, gosh. how old!!!! LAWL i just came home from schoool.. so i went onto the net to check my mails and to my surprise there were 60 new messages!! FULL ON!!!, and it was all from people wishing me a happpy birthday!. so sweet! .. i feel wreally spwecial! thank you guys!! u all are the greatest!!

heya, it’s been more than a while since i blogged. my bad

since dad’s gone back, i have lost motivation to study. haha no idea. today i was thinking in church.. should i be one of those ppls tht would have fulfilled all their dreams without a care in the world?. to be super uber happy and not tied down by responsibilties..? hmz.. to be selfish and to be full of happiness!!!! man, i feel so emo today. maybe because..

so, wht am i doing now? i’m listening to random japanese music tht’s making me so sad cos i wish oh wish that i can understand wht their saying!, i wanna LEARN!! but it hinkt his year im just gonna be too stuffed with things to do (im sure ur thinking why i went out with my friends, i SEEEM so free. right? hah]. i just had some left over Peri Peri chicken from Nando’s tht someone brought for Hannah’s farewell last night. yum as!, so im deciding tht i should go for NAndo’s some time this week, cos mum and peeps are not here.. im alone in this huge house btw.> oh cos hannah’s going to Wagga to study, so El and Mum is taking her over there now for a few days. okayy… HUNGRY! going out to eat with ma sister and bro-in-law at 5:45 with their father/father-in-law. haha

btw:–> some updates. last week. we went to KYneton from Monday-Friday. then. on Monday Mum’s sister and her husband came over from sunny brisbane. the next day Dad’s brother and his wife came over. today, we went to the Aussie Open and watched Canas, Safin, Gonzalez, Fed and many more play in matches and practiced. got couple of autographs as well… We came home sunburnt, aha. i reckon hannah and Sharmeen got the worst. LOL.

so, tomrow dad’s brother and his wife are gonna join mum,dad,hannah and i on a road trip.. wooot..

MAN!, i have!!! it is the INDIA Mission Trip Teamm!!, just being in that team is such a privilege! A few of the leaders said their highlight of the trip was the team, and I have to agree with them. our team is awesome! haha, u guys might think im just biased or so prideful. but the truth is.. this TEAM IS AWESOME!!! And especially my prayer partner, Ally, man throughout the year i just knew that she faithfully prayed for me.. and i could feel her prayers working in my life somewhere somehow. haha, i’ve been so blessed being her prayer partner. she’s just a superb girl.

anyways, today. Bec and Seraphina organised a catch-up/meet-up for the team!, so all the students went ‘cept those that were on holidays and the teachers. hahah, i think it was about… 10 of us? yeah. anyways! we had so much fun!! like, all the jokes that were said in india just popped up one by one.. and just the sharing of how we felt when we came back and what we missed from inda made us connect with one another. Also, the new friendship we made with one another just began to blossom into something quite pretty. hahaha

TODAY! Sharmeen and I went out to Glen Waverley.. Yes, i know, of all places!!! but there’s a reason, we were planning to go to Chaddy to catch a Hindi movie but they took it off Hoyts, so.. we changed our plans to hanging out in Glen Waverley. hahaha, as usual, WE HAD TONNNES OF FUN!!!!

so, when we arrived at Village Cinemas, Sharmeen had the idea of watching two movies,so,…we bought two 2:15pm ‘Bedtime Stories’ tickets at 1:30pm. we thought we had enough time to have lunch at Tong Wu, unfortunately we DID NOT!!! so, i had to run to Village [while Sharmeen was sitting at our table, waiting for our food] to sell 2 ‘Bedtime Stories’ tickets… WAHAHAHHA, so after asking tonnes of peeps abt wht movies they are gonna watch and stuffs, I found 3 girls that were willing to watch ‘Bedtime Stories’, SO! I SOLD THEM!!! WOOOOOOT~~~~. so i ran back to Tong Wu, and had lunch with sharmeen, hahaha.. we spent like, 2 hours there talking and just stuffing ourselves with food..

then, we went for bubble tea!

humm.. then we went to Glen Waverley Shopping Centre to withdraw money.. uhmm.. oh, also cos we had time to kill, we just walked into David Jones to try on sample perfumes.. hahaha [i know, so cheap??...!!!] in the end we did not try perfume samples but instead Sharmeen bought a denim coloured COuntry Road bag, which was prettty gooood-looooooooking!,

so, we had to head back to Village to catch ‘Marley & Me’ and on the way there,, we passed a sunnies shop-thing that was selling sunnies for only $12!!,so we stopped to check things out, and Sharmeen found these 2 identical sunnies that just had difffernt coloured frames.., one’s pink and another blue. we tried them on,,, and i guess we each bought one!!  SUPER COOOL!>> although, i reckon i look slightly weird.. but yeahh. Sharmeen looks pretty goood, cos she actually has a nose bridge.. i just have a nose bump.

after spending $12 bucks each,,, we had to hurry to Village to catch our 4:15pm movie.. ,,

owh!! we also bought gorbstoppers, or is it gubstoppers???.. well, im not too sure.. basically it’s the “Never-ending lolly”>> or something like that.., from Willy WOnka. Sharmeen and I finished ours.. Heheh. so hannah picked us up and we came home!! really happy .. as usual, whenver we are together we have alot of fun. im also glad ur my bestie Sharmeen <3 xoxo!

owh, did u guys know we died our hair??? .. we did it on SUnday. hannah did ething for us. she’s the bomb! our hair looks pretty gooood/!
